Youth and Sports Successfully Concludes 2025 Intra-Governmental Tournament, as NASSCORP Clinches Basketball Gold.

The 2025 edition of the Intra-Governmental Tournament reached a thrilling climax as the National Social Security Corporation (NASSCORP) edged past the Shipping Boys of the Liberia Maritime Authority (LiMA) in a nail-biting basketball final. NASSCORP secured a narrow 47–46 victory to claim the gold medal and lift the prestigious trophy.

The high-stakes showdown was nothing short of electrifying, with fans from both sides on their feet throughout the four intense quarters. Cheers echoed across the arena as the lead shifted back and forth in a tightly contested match.

In the final seconds of the game, NASSCORP capitalized on a crucial foul, sinking two free throws to seal the victory and emerge as champions of the 2025 Intra-Governmental Basketball Tournament.

Meanwhile, the third-place match was equally intense and competitive. The Public Procurement and Concessions Commission (PPCC) outlasted the Liberia Land Authority (LAA) in a closely fought contest, winning 34–30 to take home the bronze medal.

The tournament, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, once again showcased the strength of inter-agency unity, sportsmanship, and talent across government institutions.
