The Department of Administration is authorized to ensure proper management of administrative processes and procedures for enacting all Ministry of Youth and Sports programs, projects and activities for enhancing sports, Youth Development and TVET activities in Liberia.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports is headed by a Minister.  The Deputy Minister for Administration serves as the principal deputy and proxy. He/she runs the Ministry in the absence of the Minister, who may be out of the country or across the country on official duties. He/she is assisted by the Assistant Minister for Administration.

Nine departments serve as supporting arms of the administration. Their joint efforts help the administration effectively and efficiently manage and coordinate the affairs of the ministry. They are Human Resource, Internal Audit, Procurement Unit, Finance, Information Communication Technology, Asset Management, Public Affairs, Budget and Monitoring & Evaluation. They are headed by Directors.
