March 13, 2021-Monrovia, Liberia the Minister of Youth and Sports Hon. D. Zeogar Wilson extends a congratulatory message to the newly elected CAF Executive Committee member Mr. Mustapha I. Raji.
Minister Wilson is genuinely delighted with Mr. Raji’s election at the level 0f the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee, as his election takes Liberia among the top audacious of African Football.
The Youth and Sports boss Hon. D. Zeogar Wilson is thrilled that Mr. Raji’s preeminence at the level of CAF Executive Committee boasts the country’s football image internationally.
March 12, 2021, in Morocco, Raji defeated Antonio Souaré, president of Guinea Football Federation 37 votes to 14 to win the West African Football Union (WAFU Zone A) slot.
The Minister also urged all Liberians to see his ascendancy as a great inspiration to upkeep football in Liberia, and also note that Mr. Raji and those managing the country’s football program to increase the boast and promotion.
Minister Wilson who was once Mighty Barrolle goalkeeper is hopeful that Mr. Rai’s election to CAF Executive Committee is the commencement of greater things to happen to Liberian football with support from football stakeholders.
Meanwhile, Minister Wilson endorsed his sustenance to football development, under the Raji's led administration and urged the new CAF EC to use the position to help the Country’s sports at large.
