September 18, 2019- Monrovia, Liberia: The Minister of Youth and Sports (MYS), D. Zeogar Wilson’s attention has been drawn to calls by the Liberia National Students Union (LINSU) and the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) for the removal of Education Minister Hon. D. Ansu Sonii for alleged arrogance towards stakeholders in the education sector.
MYS is the regulatory body for all youth activities in the country, including those of LINSU and FLY,
Recognizing the important role of youth in the promotion of peace and security through dialogue, Minister Wilson says LINSU and FLY should reflect on the positive outcomes that have been derived from negotiations involving them over the years.
“In light of this, I am urging LINSU and FLY to kindly engage in dialogue with the education minister and other stakeholders as means of resolving issues concerning our education sector.
