The Minister of Youth and Sports, Cllr Jeror Cole Bangalu along with the Deputy and Assistant Ministers of Sports G. Andy Quamie and Murvee Gray made the case for the National Team of Liberia to be supported as they take on Djibouti on March 20, 2024, when they met with President Boakai on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the Executive Mansion.

President Boakai reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the Liberia national team and the Djibouti landscape of sports development in the nation.

President Boakai articulated his profound belief in the transformative power of sports a force capable of transcending boundaries, uniting communities, and igniting the flames of national pride.

The Liberian President emphasized that during the national county sports meet each county must provide players from their county as the way of enhancing the talent and productivity of young player.

During the meeting, the Liberia Football Association President, Mustapha Raji presented the budget for the Lone Star match with Djibouti on March 20/26, 2024.
